Nancy joined the OKC HPC team in 2018. She earned her BSPT from Rockhurst College in 1992 followed by her DPT from the University of North Dakota in 2014. After spending the majority of her career in hospitals, skilled nursing and long term care facilities, in 2016 she transitioned into the in/outpatient physical therapy setting. Nancy feels blessed to have had the opportunity to live in Mexico for 6 years where she was able to learn some conversational Spanish and work in local orphanages. She is interested in the connection between the mind and body and how exercise can help both. She believes that "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" (Benjamin Franklin) and is looking forward to becoming part of preventive medicine instead of just a reactive one. Nancy loves the outdoors and enjoys camping, snow and water skiing, white water rafting and scuba diving. But what she loves most is her family. She enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband and time with her 3 children, daughter-in-law, and 2 grandchildren.
